SOI Asia publicly announced the first batch of the CBR Seed program (October 1, 2025 – March 31, 2026). The program supports student-led research projects developing technology-driven, human-centered solutions to real-world challenges in the Asia-Pacific region.


This first round features two projects, both led by teams that include 7 alumni of the APIE Program, who continue to apply their technical and collaborative skills to new contexts:
- Building a Transparent Renewable Energy-Powered EV Charging Map for Sustainable Cities

- HYDRO-TRINITY – Triple-Stage Smart Water Purifier with Adaptive Moringa Coagulation and AI-Powered Flood Sentinel
Team members: Lizza Mirizza, Shabila Nuramaliah Poetry, Siti Zahra Shofia Rahma, Muhammad Bintang Panji Kusuma

A kick-off meeting was held on September 29 with all grantees and supervisors. APIE congratulates both teams and looks forward to the outcomes of their research in the coming months.
