The APIE Internet Governance (IG) Course introduces participants to this broader Internet ecosystem and explores how diverse stakeholders work together to support the Internet’s continued development. Through self-paced learning and interactive discussions, participants gain a deeper understanding of Internet governance, community participation, and opportunities to contribute to a more open, resilient, and inclusive Internet. Participating in the Internet
The Internet is evolving day by day to be faster, safer, and more reliable. Through this course, you’ll get to know how engineers around the world have been improving the internet for the last 30 years and how you can contribute to these efforts in the future.
Topics include the key technologies of Internet measurement and analysis as well as up-to-date research challenges in the Internet engineering field. This course also gives you an opportunity to try out your new knowledge and skills in a hands-on environment.

The APIE IG e-Workshop is a four-week interactive online workshop that introduces learners to the global Internet community and explores how individuals can get involved in shaping the Internet.

The APIE Internet Governance (IG) Course is designed for university students, early-career professionals, and APIE alumni who wish to deepen their understanding of the Internet ecosystem and explore opportunities for participation in Internet communities. Participants from diverse academic and professional backgrounds are encouraged to join, and no prior technical expertise is required.

Certificate
SOI Asia will issue an online credential (digital badge) and online certification for each component completed.
