APIE Fellows and Alumni Celebrate Achievements at APNIC 60

The APIE community came together once again during APNIC 60, held in Da Nang, Vietnam, from September 9 to 12, 2025. This regional conference brought together Internet professionals, researchers, and community builders from across the Asia Pacific — and it became a special moment of reunion for APIE alumni and mentors.

This year, four APIE alumni joined the conference as fellows through the APNIC Fellowship program to deepen their learning and expand their networks. This was not only an opportunity to participate in APNIC 60 training workshops, sessions, and discussions, but also to reconnect with their mentors from both APIE and APNIC, celebrating achievements and strengthening bonds built through previous camps and workshops.

Another highlight of the workshop was the participation of APIE alumnus Alief Fauzan, who presented the project he developed with his team during the APIE Advanced Camp in Keio, held in May 2025. His presentation showcased how APIE learners continue to apply knowledge gained during camps to real-world challenges, carrying the spirit of collaboration and innovation forward into broader Internet community events.

Moments like these show how the APIE program is not just about technical learning, but also about building a community that grows together — from first online courses and camp experiences to professional forums such as APNIC conferences.
