APIE Camp

Summary

APIE Camp is a 5-day onsite camp which provides a project-based intensive curriculum for network design and implementation using skills and knowledge acquired from the APIE Online and APIE e-Workshop components.

It also includes collaborative sessions with REN (research and education network) operators in the Asia Pacific region.

Requirement

APIE Camps are an invitation-only program.

Eligibility for the APIE Camp requires the completion of the APIE Online and APIE e-Workshop components.

The APIE Advanced Camp is open for students who have attended any previous APIE Camps.

Schedule and Content

APIE Camp programs will be scheduled four times a year in several locations in the Asia Pacific region.
(August, September, February, and March). Please note that this is an invitation-only program.

The APIE Advanced Camp #02 program will be held from May 19th (Mon) to 23st (Fri) in Hanaeda, Japan.

Future Programs

The schedules for future APIE Camp programs in 2024 will be announced soon.

Applications

15 seats are available for the 2023 camp #02.
Applications will be accepted starting in June 2023 and selection result will be announced in July.
Your application will be automatically sent to the Program Office and your University’s coordinator.

Cost

The program is free to join and a scholarship for travel expenses will be provided for the program in 2023.

Certificate

The School on Internet Asia (SOI-Asia) will issue an APIE Camp Certificate and Digital Badge on Inxignia platform for your participation and completion of the assignments. An APIE Program Certificate will be issued after completing the APIE Online, APIE e-Workshop, and APIE Camp components.
