Q1: What’s one skill or experience you gained through APIE that you wouldn’t have learned elsewhere?

The most important experience I gained was hands-on problem-solving. At APIE, I got the chance to work directly with real devices and troubleshoot small-scale technical issues in a very practical setting. That kind of real-world application is something I hadn’t experienced anywhere else.

Q2: How do you see yourself applying what you learned in APIE in your future career?

Thanks to my experience working with networking devices, I believe I’ll be able to adapt quickly to new technologies in the field of networking and IT. It gave me a strong foundation for understanding how things work in real environments.

Q3: If you could describe APIE in one word or phrase, what would it be and why?

Absolutely: “Community.”
Because APIE changed my life. It gave me more than just technical skills — it gave me a sense of belonging, of being part of something bigger.

This interview was recorded in February 2025, during the APIE Camp at University Brawijawa, (Malang, Indonesia).
