Q1: What’s one skill or experience you gained through APIE that you wouldn’t have learned elsewhere?
One of the biggest things I gained through APIE was technical skill — especially in networking and infrastructure deployment. But more than that, APIE gave us a space that’s truly hands-on. We had so many opportunities to practice, from exercises to lab sessions, and real-time implementation.
It was life-changing for many of us. Back in college, we sometimes felt lost, unsure of what direction to take. But APIE gave us not only technical skills but also soft skills like communication and teamwork. We really developed as individuals inside the APIE community.
Q2: How do you see yourself applying what you learned in APIE in your future career?
I see myself continuing along the path that APIE opened up for me — maybe something in networking, infrastructure, or cloud computing. It broadened my view of what’s possible. APIE made me realize how many future career options are out there, and I’m inspired to pursue something that connects to the skills I gained in the program.

“We work together to fix mistakes. It’s very collaborative and supportive.”
Q3: If you could describe APIE in one word or phrase, what would it be and why?
“Connecting the community — and life-changing.”
APIE doesn’t feel like a corporate or rigid system. If we make a mistake, that’s okay. We work together to fix it. It’s very collaborative and supportive.
Before joining, I was mostly focused on technical skills — just doing programming. But I didn’t know how to express myself or share my knowledge with others. APIE gave me a warm, energizing environment where we’re encouraged to grow together, make mistakes together, and learn joyfully. It connects people from different countries and backgrounds, and creates a true sense of global community.
