This is an invitation-only program for learners who have completed
the current APIE courses.
Program Schedule
March 10 (Sun): Team Building
- Travel day (Some people leave home on 9th)
- Team building and ice breaking session.
March 11 (Mon): Internet routing (BGP)
- Learn and configure BGP to understand the current Internet.
March 12 (Tue): Database basic
- Learn and configure MySQL to understand how database is used in large scale system.
March 13 (Wed): Computer architecture
- Learn about comber architecture to deeper understanding of container and virtual environments.
March 14 (Thu): Network operation
- Use zabix, SNMP and log files for network operation and troubleshootings
March 15 (Fri): Site visit and summary
- Summary of the week.
- Visit data center and/or NOCs. Also discuss with professional engineers.
March 16 (Sat): Security workshop
- 1 day security workshop coordinated by Japanese government

AITAC (Advanced IT Architect Human Resource Development Council) is an organization of experts from industry and academia in Japan aiming to nurture Internet architects who can design and operate such comprehensive systems.

APNIC Academy
APNIC’s primary role is to provide Internet number resources (IPv4, IPv6, ASNs) to members in the Asia Pacific region. The APNIC Academy supports the people who build, operate and maintain the Internet providing online learning platform and training programs.
